By sourcing our fibers and fabrics exclusively within the EU, we ensure that every thread carries a legacy of quality and environmental responsibility. ITALIAN SPINNING

Centuries of textile expertise behind every yarn.

Our choice of Italian spinners is a commitment to the highest craftsmanship in the world. Italy’s long-standing textile heritage ensures not only unparalleled quality and aesthetic refinement but also strict adherence to European environmental and labor regulations. Choosing these historic mills means choosing a legacy of excellence that has been perfected over generations.

MERINO WOOL

One of our signature fibres: soft, naturally thermoregulating and mulesing-free.

Merino wool is one of the fibres DIARTE is known for. Our Merino is selected for its low micron count, ensuring a silky, “no-itch” feel that challenges the traditional perception of wool. Naturally thermoregulating, it keeps you warm in the cold and cool as you move, while being a high-performance, biodegradable fibre.

Since 2010, we have worked with the same specialist mill for our Merino yarns, as well as with the same manufacturer for our Merino garments. These long-standing relationships are built on reliability, quality and consistency, allowing us to maintain a high standard from yarn to finished piece. Our wool is strictly mulesing-free, reflecting our commitment to materials that respect both the animal and the wearer.

EGYPTIAN COTTON

Soft, breathable and made to hold its shape.

Renowned for its extra-long fibers, our superior Egyptian cotton is the foundation of our summer collections. This superior staple length results in a yarn that is remarkably durable, pill-resistant, and extraordinarily soft. 

With its signature “dry touch” and breathable structure, it creates garments that hold their shape while feeling effortless against the skin, year after year.

ORGANIC COTTON

A natural fibre we use across both knitwear and woven pieces.

Organic cotton is a recurring part of our collections, used across both knitwear and woven garments. Its natural softness, breathability and versatility make it a reliable choice for everyday pieces, while organic cultivation supports more responsible farming practices.

SUSTAINABLE VISCOSE

Soft, fluid and responsibly sourced.

We mainly use sustainable viscose in our knitwear, with occasional use in woven pieces. Our selection includes LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and FSC®-certified viscose, chosen for their traceability and more responsible approach to fibre sourcing and production.

LYOCELL

Fluid, breathable and made from sustainably managed forests.

Derived from sustainably managed forests, our Lyocell is a testament to botanical innovation. Known for its graceful drape and silk-like luster, it is processed in a closed-loop system that recovers 99% of the solvent used. Its low water footprint and high moisture absorption make it the perfect choice for fluid, conscious, and long-lasting garments.

REGENERATED TEXTILES

Giving new life to pre-consumer textile waste.

We give new life to what already exists. Our regenerated cottons and wools are created through a mechanical process that breaks down pre-consumer textile waste back into raw fiber, which is then spun into new, high-quality yarns. This circular approach significantly reduces the need for virgin resources, proving that luxury and waste-reduction can coexist in the same thread.

BLENDed fibers

Combining different fibers to enhance performance and feel.

We believe in the power of the “blend” at the very source. By using different fiber combinations within the same yarn or weave, we achieve unique drapes and enhanced properties that a single fiber couldn’t reach alone. 

Whether it’s blending for extra softness, subtle luster, or superior resilience, this dialogue between fibers allows us to engineer textiles that are as versatile as they are enduring.
