OUR PHILOSOPHY
OUR STORY
Thoughtful knitwear, made in Spain since 2010.
Founded in Madrid in 2010, DIARTE creates knitwear and everyday pieces shaped by thoughtful design, premium materials and local craftsmanship.
Rooted in a family tradition of making, we believe clothing should be more than seasonal. It should be made with intention, worn with ease and kept for years to come.
OUR PURPOSE
At DIARTE, we believe every garment begins long before it is worn.
It starts with the yarn we choose, the people we work with and the way each piece is made. These decisions shape not only how a garment looks, but how it feels, how it ages and how long it stays with you.
Rather than creating for a single season, we design pieces that become part of everyday life, growing softer, more personal and more meaningful over time.
OUR VALUES
Our work is guided by a simple belief: every decision matters.
From producing locally in Spain to carefully selecting European yarns and working with trusted family-run workshops, we believe quality and responsibility go hand in hand.
Instead of chasing trends, we focus on creating timeless collections, thoughtful design and garments made to last, because the most sustainable piece is often the one you continue wearing year after year.
WHO WE DESIGN FOR
Some wardrobes are built around trends. Others are built around trust.
The Diarte woman builds her wardrobe with intention, choosing pieces for how they feel rather than how they shout. She values craftsmanship, quality and versatility, creating a wardrobe that evolves naturally over time instead of changing every season.
More than a customer profile, she represents the mindset that inspires every collection we create.
OUR ORIGINS
DIARTE was founded in Madrid in 2010 by Ana Diarte and Jairo Berrocal, but its story began long before.
Growing up surrounded by generations of women who embroidered, tailored, knitted and crocheted, Ana developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship and the quiet beauty of things made by hand. Those memories continue to shape the way every collection is designed today.
Knitwear became a natural language. Unlike any other discipline, it allows texture, structure and silhouette to be created from a single thread, combining creativity with technical precision. Even today, Ana continues to knit prototypes by hand and works closely with local factories throughout the design process, maintaining the same hands-on approach that inspired the brand from the beginning.
